Thom Anthony (Demetrius)
Thom is a newcomer to the Chicago theatre community. Originally from Minnesota, Midsummer marks his first show in the city and he is excited to share this "mischief in the woods." Previous credits include Fat Men in Skirts, The Rover and, yes, A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Patrick Budde (Puck/ Philostrate)
Patrick is a Chicago-based actor/musician and a proud Northwestern graduate. He recently returned to Chicago after a nine-month stint as part of the Milwaukee Rep Acting Intern Ensemble. James Fleming (Lysander)
James is a Chicago-based actor and director. Most recently, he understudied the role of Jonathan in Mud Blue Sky at A Red Orchid Theatre. Other acting credits include Jonathan in reWILDing Genius (The New Colony) and Jim inThe Glass Menagerie (UChicago). He is a proud graduate of the Theater & Performance Studies program at The University of Chicago.
Natalie C. Houchins (Hippolyta/ Oberon)
Natalie is a native of Austin, Texas, and a recent graduate of Northwestern University. This is her Chicago acting debut, and she couldn't be more excited to be doing so with these amazing people. When she's not acting, she is writing, waiting tables, doing yoga, and fighting gendered oppression. Thanks for coming!
Beth Hyland (Snug)
Beth is thrilled to be working with Rabid Bat! She was recently seen in I Have Been to the Wild Wood with Duplicity Ensemble. Favorite roles include Darlene (Balm in Gilead), Becca (Rabbit Hole), and Crissy (Hair). Love to family and pals!
Justin Leider (Flute)
Justin is slap happy to return to Moody's Pub for Rabid Bat's second annual summertime Shakespeare extravaganza. A Northwestern expatriate, he had a tumultuous yet rousing first year out of college and has big plans to make plans. He sends good vibes your way and supports the busting of cool grooves whenever possible.
Lizzy Lewis (Helena)
is so excited to be working with Rabid Bat Theatricals! This past June, she graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Comparative Literature. She is currently a student in the ACADEMY at Black Box Acting
Pernell Myers (Theseus/ Titania)
Pernell is beyond thrilled to be able to return to Moody's one more time. After fleeing the oppressive heat of his home in South Florida, he still geeks out a little at the seasons changing. He is an avid rooftop-sitter, dog lover, and road-tripper. He's just graduated from Northwestern University and is still constantly amazed at all of the ways we can use this art to make people think, feel, or do...something...anything. Thanks to the whole Midsummer crew and all supporters of young crazy artists for making this happen.
Abby Pajakowski (Bottom)
Abby is extremely grateful to be among so much whimsy this summer. She recently graduated from Northwestern University and is a director, writer, and performer in Chicago. At NU she was a member of Sit & Spin Productions, Griffin’s Tale Children’s Repertory Theatre, and Titanic Players Improv.
Julia Rigby (Starveling/Mustardseed)
Previous credits include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck) with Strangeloop, The Comedy of Errors (Dromio of Ephesus) with Spectralia, and The Winter’s Tale (Hermione) with the Alluvium Group. She earned her BFA in Theatre Performance from VCU. Find her on the web at thejuliarigby.com.
Will Sonheim (Egeus/ Peter Quince)
Will received his Bachelor's degree in Radio/Television/Film from Northwestern and is currently acting, writing, and improvising his way around Chicago. A four-year member of Northwestern Sketch Television (NSTV), The Titanic Players, and Griffin's Tale, Will has also worked on multimedia projects with the Northwestern Theatre Department, the Neo-Futurists, and 500 Clown. He can also be seen performing regularly with The Ruckus, an iO Harold Team. Will couldn't be more excited to get to goof around with this magical group of lovers, madmen, and everything in between at Moody's Pub this summer. The next round is on him!
Chelsea Taylor (Hermia)
Chelsea is an actor and teaching artist originally from Seattle, WA. After attending Northwestern University, she moved to Chicago where she has worked as an actor with Bohemian Theatre Ensemble, Deluge Theatre Collective, Buzz22 Chicago, Chicago Home Theatre Festival, and trip. She is very excited to be working with Rabid Bat Theatricals, special thanks to Sammy and Jae.
Will Wilhelm (Snout)
Will Wilhelm is thrilled to make his debut as a graduate of Northwestern University with this wonderful group of friends. Recently, Will understudied Lost in Yonkers (Northlight Theatre) and We Three Lizas (About Face/Steppenwolf Garage). He also played the title role in Zanna, Don't! (The Music Theatre Company).
